You are invited to a quiet retreat of Deep Philosophy, to cultivate our inner depth and our depth-understanding of basic life-issues. We will contemplate on brief philosophical texts, in the togetherness of a group, using various contemplative techniques.
Dates: The retreat period is March 17-23 (Tuesday afternoon – Monday morning). You may come for any 3-6 nights of your choice.
Language: Basic English.
Background: No special background is required – all are invited.
Place: Monastery of Santa Marta, Via di Santa Marta 7, Firenze (Florence), Italy.
How to get there: Go to Florence by air, train, or car. Then take a local taxi or bus to Santa Marta monastery. (More details when you register, or upon request.)
Accommodations: Each participant will have a private room. The price is included in the participation cost.
Program: Each day will include sessions of Contemplative Philosophy and of Guided Silence.
Participation costs: The following costs will cover all meals, a private room, insurance, and full participation in the activities:
5 days (6 nights, full retreat): 695 Euro (139 per day)
4 days (5 nights): 640 Euro (160 per day)
3 days (4 nights): 520 Euro (174 per day)
2 days (3 nights): 380 Euro (190 per day)
Registration and deposit: To participate, you must register in advance, by writing to us your participation dates, and making a deposit of 50% of the participation cost. The deposit is non-refundable. (Write to us for more details about how to pay.) The rest can be paid at the retreat.
